About

I am a musician, composer, mother, and storyteller. My work is rooted in the belief that much of what we are looking for can be found within us.

My work grew out of my own experience of finding my way to myself through music and, more specifically, through my voice.

There was a time when anxiety made it difficult for me to inhabit my own body. As a musician, I found myself struggling to play the instrument I loved. What had once been a source of expression became difficult to access.

It was through my voice that I began to find my way back.

Through breath, sound, and a meditative and intuitive approach to the voice, I discovered that I could become deeply present in my body and begin to listen- not just to the sounds I was making but to myself.

And in the listening, I began to recognize something I hadn’t realized I was searching for: a quieter, more grounded sense of myself.

My voice became the doorway.

I don’t believe it is the only doorway. There are many beautiful ways of developing presence, self awareness, and a deeper relationship with ourselves. But I believe the voice has something uniquely powerful to offer us because it is something we all possess.

You don’t need to be a singer. You don’t need musical training. You don’t need to know how to use your voice.

You already have a voice.

And your voice belongs to you.

My Approach

I think of myself less as someone who has answers and more as a mirror of the strength and wisdom already present in another person.

I listen deeply. I ask questions from a place of genuine curiosity. I share stories from my own life when they might illuminate something, but I don’t believe my experience is the answer to someone else’s.

My own experiences- including my struggles with anxiety, my relationship with music, and the profound physical and emotional demands of motherhood- have taught me that sometimes we don’t need someone tell us what to do.

Sometimes we need someone to be present enough to help us hear ourselves.

That is the space I hope to create.

Through voice, breath, music, story, and deep listening I invite people into a more intimate relationship with themselves- a place where they slow down, become present, and begin to notice what their own body and voice are communicating.

I don’t believe this work is about becoming someone different.

Sometimes it begins with becoming quiet enough to hear who we already are.
